Shop Sigerson Morrison Shoes Online

One of my favorite shoe brands Siegerson Morrison just opened up their online shop which also sells their belle line. Their strappy heels are my favorite because they are so well made. I have a pair of metallic silver ones that are still going strong after 5 years. I haven't even had to get the soles and heel fixed. I might have to add these light gold strappy heels to my collection now that they are on sale for $357 (regular $595).

Tiny Bubbles

I just spotted this cool looking Bubble Necklace ($115 at MoMAstore) at Stylehive. Made by designers Marina and Susanna Sent, who belong to a family which has worked for generations in Murano, the ancient center for the production of Venetian glass in Italy. I just love the idea of wearing tiny bubbles around your neck!

Prints and Patterns

Prints are in and if you want to go for designs that go beyond stripes or animal spots, get a beautiful dose of graphic play this season with tribal patterns or Ikat prints. The tribal look always feels like summer and I love the zigzag print on this Banana Republic Silk Zigzag shift dress ($98).

Rollasole: Vending Machine Flats to Save Stiletto-wearing Feet

On NBC Nightly News last night, I caught a story about 27 year old UK entrepreneur, Matt Horan who started a company based off an ingenious idea. Rollasole is an emergency ballet flat sold in vending machine at UK clubs. For about 5 pounds (around 8 bucks), you can relieve your dancing or partying feet with these comfy and cute ballet flats that roll open and come complete with a little carry pouch (for you to tote around and use later!). Within 6 months of starting his business, Horan has sold thousands of Rollasoles and has expanded to the wedding/special occasions market. The next expansion? Over the pond, of course. Rollasole is coming soon to the U.S. to bring relief to our stiletto-wearing partying feet.

NBC hasn't posted this video segment on their site (and not sure if they will), but I've contacted them and will update this post if it happens.

Denim jackets really never go out of style and they keep getting updated each season with more stylized looks. I've been wearing my H&M Stella Mc Cartney denim jacket for the last few years and it's always been a great summer staple.
